Rubber Pads

Rubber shoes and pads are designed to improve the traction and stability of excavators on all types of terrain, especially hard finished and abrasive surfaces, reducing noise and vibration.

In order to satisfy the various needs and applications, MST offer rubber pads with Bolt On and Clip On technologies, as well as rubber shoes of standard and road liner types.

MST stock rubber pads for a wide range of excavators operating in the UK.

Bolt On

Our Bolt On rubber pads bolt onto the steel track pads using specially positioned holes to ensure a perfect fit. Our most popular range, being both durable and economical, these are the ideal solution for converting steel tracked machines to rubber padded tracks for semi permanent operations. The complete lack of play between the rubber pads and steel shoes help maintain an even wear pattern, ensuring longevity.

  • Easy to fit and remove on site
  • Protect delicate finished surfaces
  • Designed from hard wearing rubber compounds
  • Reduced vibration and load on the undercarriage
  • Improves traction and stability of machines
  • Quieter and smoother driving

Chain On

Our Chain On pads consist of a steel plate coated with a layer of rubber, and are fixed directly onto the track chains as complete replacement for steel shoes. In this way, the rubber encloses the steel component of the tracks providing protection if the track comes into contact with a hard finished surface. Chain on pads are the recommended choice for long term and permanent rubber pad conversions to undercarriage.

  • Rubber encloses the steel component of the tracks
  • Protect delicate finished surfaces
  • Designed from hard wearing rubber compounds
  • Reduced vibration and load on the undercarriage
  • Improves traction and stability of machines
  • Quieter and smoother driving

Clip On

Our Clip On Pads are designed for applications on steel track shoes without fitting holes. They are fitted using side brackets, or clips, considerably reducing fitting time. This makes them the best choice for quick fitting and removal, in applications with short term use, or for rapidly converting a steel tracked vehicle to rubber tracked so it can be used on finished surfaces without causing damage.
